This is a little bag of coal handed out at a science teacher trade show by the Illinois Office of Coal Development to promote the idea that Illinois coal is a good thing to burn in a power plant. Kind of like the uranium fuel pellets handed out by nuclear power companies for more or less the same public-relations reasons.
