Tungsten 1/2 rods
1/2" rods.
These are tungsten rods left over from experiments Kevin Anetsberger of the Midwest Tungsten Service did to see how best to thread the ends. From the look of it, it's not easy. He brought them when he came for a visit to help me with my attempts at vacuum vapor deposition, which were not going well.
